The Fate of Morgan Cunningham

The Fate of Morgan Cunningham is a live “audio-film” in which Cameron, having been killed by his lover, awakens in a strange apartment where he is at the mercy of the strangers he encounters. Through robotic voices that narrate the story and give speech to its characters, the work explores the uneasy proximity of intimacy and alienation, love and violence, life and death. The artificial voices lend the narrative an estranged quality, while the live performance brings a sense of immediacy and emotional presence.
